The commercial real estate landscape in Central Texas takes another leap forward with the unveiling of the 19-story office tower in Plano’s Granite Park. The vast 420,000 sq. feet structure, which broke ground in 2021, has now opened its doors following a construction delay due to the pandemic.
The tower, christened as Granite Park 6, is part of the remarkable 90-acre mixed-use Granite Park development located on SH 121. The facilities include numerous amenities like a ground-floor lobby featuring a state-of-the-art LED display, a 150-seat lecture hall for corporate events, a posh tenant lounge, and a fitness center. What’s more? An impressive 9,000 sq. feet space dedicated solely to outdoor activities.
Already claiming a 90% occupancy rate, Granite Park 6 houses tenants that include the well-regarded Stonebriar Commercial. This monumental project is a fruitful partnership between Granite Properties and the North Carolina-based Highwoods Properties. With interiors exquisitely designed by HKS and an architectural plan by BOKA Powell, this is certainly an addition worth celebrating in the Central Texas real estate scene. Austin Commercial served as the project’s general contractor.
This fantastic new development is a testament to the dynamism and potential of the Central Texas real estate industry. Find out more about this captivating project [here](https://www.recenter.tamu.edu/news/newstalk-texas/?Item=29966).
