Exciting times are ahead in Austin as Simon Property Group Inc. has embarked on a significant renovation project at The Domain. Known as Phase I of the redevelopment plan, Simon intends to refurbish facades for two buildings, which will influence 11 storefronts, ranging from All Saints to J. Crew. This initial phase will also include a comprehensive makeover of common areas.
The forthcoming stages are designed to breathe new life into the north end of the property, introducing new facades and revising the outdoor area on Agave Lane. Shoppers can look forward to enhanced amenities like upgraded restrooms, updated railings, improved lighting in the west parking area, revamped furnishings and accessories, and more aesthetic landscaping.
Simon has employed Graycor as the contractor for these refurbishments and has engaged Rundell Ernstberger Associates for the landscaping architecture and GHA for the building design. The best part? All stores will remain open during these transformations, so you can continue to shop while witnessing the metamorphosis of this key Central Texas real estate landmark. The grand reveal of these modifications is projected for the holiday season of 2024.
