Get ready to welcome fresh developments to Central Texas, thanks to Intracorp Texas’ bold new venture to transform four lots on South Congress Avenue in Austin. Intracorp plans to replace an array of buildings including a former gas station, an auto shop, a nursing and rehab center, and a parking lot with a cutting-edge mixed-used project. This significant undertaking is set to introduce around 250 housing units to the area – a move that adds value to its bustling real estate market.
The sweeping project, which represents an estimated cost of $110 million, will involve building a mid-rise condo structure complete with a garage and street-level retail areas, spanning over a whopping 620,000 square feet. The properties selected for demolition cover 2.8 acres and encapsulate various uses in the existing cityscape.
The project’s cornerstone is industry leaders, with Kirksey Architecture wearing the hat of the chief architect while Nudge Design will provide its expert insights as a landscape architect. Renowned engineering firm Kimley-Horn and Associates are on-board as the appointed engineers.
The project is anticipated to break ground by March 1, 2024, and projected to reach completion by October 1, 2025. To stay updated with progressing developments in Central Texas, keep following Yee-Haw Development Marketing Group.
