Get ready, Central Texas! A brand-new master-planned community, Austin Point, is underway in Fort Bend County. The ambitious project, managed by the Signorelli Co., will span a colossal 4,700 acres and will be located at the yet-to-be-constructed intersection of the Grand Parkway and Fort Bend Parkway.
Austin Point envisions an expansive community of 14,000 homes when completed, with a projected population of approximately 50,000 residents. Interestingly, the development is not solely residential – 1,600 acres will be exclusively devoted to mixed-use commercial development! This commercial area will include a staggering 15 million square feet of apartments, retail spaces, offices, and medical centers.
The inauguration of the Phase One of the community is set for later this fall. It will feature an initial 421 homesites spanning from 35 to 70 feet in width and houses ranging from a snug 1,000 to a spacious 4,500 sq. ft.
One major highlight of this phase will be The 1824 – a central park cum community center replete with conveniences such as a café and wine bar, event lawn, children’s play area, beer garden, food truck court, and outdoor fitness and recreational spaces. The park is also expected to have an extensive trail system elegantly woven through the existing irrigation canal.
The first set of homes is anticipated to be delivered by the end of 2024, and the property sales are planned to commence in early 2025. For more updates on this and other real estate development n Texas, keep visiting Yee-Haw Development Marketing Group’s blog.
