Central Texas is rising high with a new phenomenon on the horizon, as the Lost Creek Country Club gets reborn with a new name, and a fascinating multi-million-dollar transformation plan. Recasted as Westlake Country Club, the journey of the enchanted makeover commenced in 2022. This esteemed 6,623-yard, par 72-golf course is all set to undergo three phases of renovation that promise an elevated experience for its members.
The inaugural phase brought key upgrades to the tennis and racquet sports facilities. It remarkably redesigned two of its tennis courts into pickleball courts, and significantly improved the club’s aquatics center, poolside bar, and restaurant.
The club is now in the second stage, the centerpiece of which is a complete redesign of the shining greens and bunkers. Kickstarted in December 2022, the course is anticipated to be ready by November 2023. This phase also introduces a new irrigation system, offering an expanded driving range, and building a new practice course for its members.
Finally, the third phase is designed to refurbish the porches of the main clubhouse. This would include a remarkable revamp of dining facilities, private event space, locker rooms, state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, family areas, parking lots, and the encompassing landscape.
However, keep in mind that with progressing enhancements, the membership costs are bound to rise. New members would have to bear a $100,000 initiation fee, along with monthly dues of $1,000, to enjoy full access to these quality facilities. The exhaustive project, expected to be fully completed by 2025, clearly indicates a promising future for real estate in Central Texas.
