Astonishing Amusement Ahead: COTA Land Progresses Despite Delays

Exciting news for family entertainment enthusiasts in Central Texas! Although there have been setbacks due to shipping and production delays, a new chapter continues to unfurl at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) race track. Since 2020, plans have been in motion to elevate the venue into a full-blown amusement park, known as COTA Land. However, the proposed opening in 2023 has been pushed back.

Nevertheless, development does not halt as the first milestone, the T-11 Car Condo community, broke ground this month. This exciting feature, aimed to open in approximately nine months, will offer condominiums encompassing up to 6,000 square feet.

Beyond the condos, Executives announced thrilling plans for the park, including 30 rides appealing to a range of thrill-seekers. This includes at least three roller coasters, one of which, The Texas Wildcat, is already up and running in the track’s grand plaza. Furthermore, ten children’s rides and multiple family rides are available during major events at the park.

The new site structure, which is currently under review, starts with two amusement rides with associated improvements encompassing 341,510 square feet of construction on 7.8 acres. Rest assured, COTA officials have affirmed that the remaining segments of the project align with their ongoing aim to expand the park.
